Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- ¼ green pepper, chopped fine
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbs. worcestershire sauce
- ½ stack crackers
- Crushed 8 oz can tomato sauce
- Salt, pepper, garlic salt to taste
- Dash chilli powder
Directions
- Beat the egg and combine with onion, pepper and seasonings.
- Add meat and ½ of the tomato sauce and mix.
- Add crackers until mixture holds together.
- Shape in a pie pan and pour rest of tomato sauce over top.
- Bake at 375º for 1 hour.
- Let stand about 5 minutes before slicing.
- If time permits sauté the onion and pepper in a little oil before mixing with the meat mixture.
