Directions

  1. Beat the egg and combine with onion, pepper and seasonings.
  2. Add meat and ½ of the tomato sauce and mix.
  3. Add crackers until mixture holds together.
  4. Shape in a pie pan and pour rest of tomato sauce over top.
  5. Bake at 375º for 1 hour.
  6. Let stand about 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. If time permits sauté the onion and pepper in a little oil before mixing with the meat mixture.
